* A site license allows you to install SIMS to unlimited workstations within your athletic department, club or clinic.
† A separate external license is required for each outside organization that you service off premises. For example, a clinic that provides an athletic trainer to work on site at a high school must purchase an external license for that high school. An external license allows you to install SIMS to a computer (e.g., a laptop) provided by your clinic and used at an external site. However, such computers cannot reside at the external site, and installation of SIMS on computers at the external site is not permitted without a separate license. Two (2) external licenses are included with each clinic license purchase.

Point-person maintenance plans are discounted plans that require you to designate a single individual to handle all support communications with FlanTech. You can use this download for new installations (including trial installations) or to upgrade existing installations. It is not necessary to uninstall prior versions of SIMS before upgrading unless you have been instructed to do so by technical support personnel.

The following patch is recommended for all installations of SIMS version 9.1.2. It will not work on earlier versions of SIMS.
Patch instructions
- Ensure SIMS 9.1.2 is installed on your SIMS workstation. You can check the version by selecting Help / About SIMS from the SIMS menu.
- Close SIMS if it is running.
- Click here to download the patch , and install it to your workstation.
- Repeat these instructions on your other SIMS workstations, if applicable.
SIMS System Requirements

- Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 (see requirements below)
- 400 MHz Pentium processor or equivalent (minimum); 1GHz Pentium processor or equivalent (recommended)
- 96 MB of RAM required, 256 MB of RAM recommended
- Hard-disk requirements will vary based on the number of athletes and the degree of detail you are recording. For most users, 1 MB per 100 athletes, per year, will suffice. The software itself requires 50 MB hard-disk space (in addition to the Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 system requirements).
Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 System Requirements
The SIMS installer will automatically download and install .NET Framework 3.5 if it is not detected on your system.
- If .NET Framework 3.5 is not already installed on your system, up to 500 MB additional hard disk space may be required. Please click here for the complete Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 system requirements.
- If you will be installing to multiple workstations, we recommended that you download the full .NET Framework 3.5 package, and install to each workstation prior to installing SIMS.
